Class Overview: This program is designed
to prepare students for the various fields of the Entertainment and Events Technology industry. Special competency areas are
directed toward lighting, audio, rigging, computer and live event management. The program is perfect for students
intending to go directly into the workplace, as well as for entertainment industry professionals desiring to enhance their
skills. The program trains students to work in all facets of the entertainment industry, giving them the skills to work as
part of a production team in the preparation and performance of theatrical and entertainment events, such as entertainment
and sporting venues, churches, auditoriums, theatres, hotels/ conventions, trade shows or corporations.
